Besnier, 19, has amassed 13 points (2+11) over 27 games with the Volts, since joining the team this off-season as the team's first round selection in the CHL Import Draft.
This is the second time the 5-foot-9 blueliner will play for the U-20 squad, having potted two points (1+1) over five games last season as he helped France clinch a silver medal.
He joins Gatineau defender and Tampa Bay Lightning prospect Jan Golicic as the two QMJHL representatives at the tournament, which begins December 9th.
