AC Milan’s summer budget will largely be depleted by two key signings, but they must also remain on the lookout for opportunities, and Adrien Rabiot could provide a fantastic one for the club.

In the past few years, the Frenchman has had a tremendously rocky relationship with Juventus, and on several occasions, it has seemed he would leave in summers gone by, and somehow, he has stayed in Turin. However, this summer, things might not go that way again.

As reports have suggested in recent weeks, contacts between Rabiot and the Old Lady are heading in one direction, and it seems to be an exit. Cristiano Giuntoli, Juventus’ sporting director, has made several efforts to make a deal happen, and until now, each have been rejected.

Therefore, Milan have laid waiting in the wings for each update, getting increasingly ready to pounce when the opportunity to do so is right, and that time, perhaps, is getting closer.

As Antonio Vitiello reports on his X account, the Frenchman is a ‘possibility’ for the Rossoneri, but it would only occur if he left his current club available for free. He continues, stating that meetings have occurred to enquire about the cost of a deal, and whilst the proposed figures are high, the Diavolo are ‘remaining vigilant’.
