Real Madrid continue their unbeaten season, despite the difficulties that Carlo Ancelotti’s side have had with injuries and the adaptation of this new team.

Los Blancos took all three points with a 4-1 win over Espanyol. They had troubles after being down 0-1, but managed to make a quick comeback.

Great performances from Luka Modric, Arda Güler, and Vinicius Jr, but there is still a lot of work to do to keep fighting in the competitions.

Madrid Universal brings you the player ratings from the Real Madrid vs Espanyol clash.

Thibaut Courtois: 4

The Belgium goalkeeper strangely did not have his best night. He conceded few shots, but caused Espanyol’s first goal with a very poor own goal.

Dani Carvajal: 7

An average game for the Spanish full-back, but he once again showed that he can come on when the team needs him with his goal to level the score.

Antonio Rüdiger: 5

Played the final 6 minutes of the game. Didn’t have too much participation.

Aurélien Tchouaméni: 6

Out of position, as he played as a centre-back to cover for the absentees. Little involvement in defence, but good overall performance.

Vinicius Jr: 9

Came on in the 55th minute, but showed why he should be this year’s Ballon d’Or winner. He scored a goal and provided the assist for the comeback with a perfect pass to Rodrygo.

Éder Militao: 8

Splendid performance from the Brazilian both in defence and starting plays from the back. He had 3 shots, and completed 6/7 long balls.

Fran Garcia: 4

Lost many duels, and despite being active in attack failed to convert his chances.

Luka Modric: 8.5

The captain hit 7/7 long balls and created 6 great chances. He continues to demonstrate his high level at his age.

Kylian Mbappé: 7

Had a great game, but needs to be better in the final third. He scored a penalty for 4-1 and was very active in attack.

Jude Bellingham: 8

Lacked the goal, but completed 3 key passes and won 6/6 duels. Another great game from the Englishman.

Federico Valverde: 7.5

An all-rounder performance. The Uruguayan looked in a comfortable role controlling the central midfield zone.

Arda Güler: 7.5

Magician, creating 4 key passes in just 55 minutes. The Turkish player does not mind being a starter and he looks more and more connected to the team.

Rodrygo: 7.5

Versatile as always, and showing up at important moments. The Brazilian scored the comeback goal.

Lucas Vazquez: 7

Replaced Dani Carvajal in the 59th minute. Did very well in attack.

Endrick: 6.5

Played for the final minutes of the clash and won a penalty. Once again, the young Brazilian shows that he needs a few minutes to be useful for Ancelotti’s side.
