Yahoo Sports Villa sign midfielder Baijings on loan from Bayern
Women's Super League side Aston Villa have signed Jill Baijings on loan from Bayern Munich.
The Netherlands midfielder, 23, becomes Villa's first addition of the summer transfer window.
Baijings made 14 appearances for Bayern last season, helping the German side retain the Frauen-Bundesliga title.
“Jill is a young player with great experience who we look forward to welcoming," said Lee Billiard, Villa's head of women’s football.
"She is a player we have tracked for a while and believe she has a lot of key attributes that would strengthen the team’s performances."
Baijings has made eight international appearances for the Netherlands and played for Heerenveen, SGS Essen and Bayer Leverkusen before joining Bayern Munich on a three-year contract last summer.
