The American capitalised on the hosts’ strong as he completed a one-two with teammate Alvaro Morata before sprinting through Liverpool’s half and placing a perfect low right-footed effort into the far corner to put the Rossoneri ahead.

He is enjoying a dream start to the season, as this was his second consecutive goal after the one scored against Venezia last weekend and the third from five games played across Serie A and Champions League.
