Video: Everton defender Ben Godfrey arrives for Atalanta medical

Ben Godfrey arrived in Milan on Friday morning to undergo medical tests with Atalanta ahead of a permanent €9m transfer.

English defender Godfrey is on the verge of joining Atalanta from Everton on a permanent transfer.

Sky Sport Italia reported on Thursday evening that the deal between La Dea and The Toffees was pretty much done and sealed.

Transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio said Godfrey would join the 2023-24 Europa League winners on a €9m transfer plus €1m add-ons.

Godfrey arrived this morning in Milan and will now undergo a medical examination with La Dea.
