Former Blue John Obi Mikel is not happy with the club’s treatment of Trevoh Chalobah and Conor Gallagher with the pair set to leave this summer.

Gallagher was one of Chelsea’s best performers last season, whilst the same can be said of Chalobah once he returned to the side after injury.

However Chelsea have decided the pair are surplus to requirements with Gallagher patiently waiting to complete his move to Atletico Madrid, whilst Chalobah is currently training away from the first team squad.

The treatment of the pair hasn’t gone down well with fans especially because the players are both academy graduates who have given their all to the club and have done nothing wrong.

Mikel, like many fans is baffled by their treatment with the Nigerian believing Gallagher was Chelsea’s best performer after Cole Palmer, whilst he felt Chalobah was the club’s best centre back when he returned from injury.

It’s hard to argue either of those points and many supporters would agree, but the club have made their mind up and it remains to be see how the Blues get on without them this season.
