Chelsea could still make a move to try and sign a player who they think is ‘one of the best’ on the market in his position, reports Fabrizio Romano this week.

The Blues have been linked with a number of potential new signings in attacking areas this window, and one of them is likely to be a new striker arriving.

But it appears to be all about finding the right option for the position, and they seem to be taking their time in doing that.

Romano was on PlayBack last night after the England game reporting on the latest transfer news, and he honed in on Chelsea.

Chelsea appreciate Omorodion

Romano says Atletico Madrid striker Samu Omorodion could still join Chelsea.

He says: “Chelsea still appreciates Samu Omorodion and thinks he’s one of the best strikers on the market. It’s on Atlético Madrid. If they open the door, Chelsea are there, but they are exploring other options.”
