Vancouver Canucks Send Max Sasson To Abbotsford
The Vancouver Canucks have loaned forward Max Sasson to the Abbotsford Canucks, the team announced Wednesday.
Sasson, a product of Birmingham, Mich., has split time between the NHL and the AHL this season, collecting two assists in five games with Vancouver and nine points in 16 games with Abbotsford.
An undrafted free agent, Sasson turned pro at the end of the 2022-23 season. Throughout 79 career AHL regular season games over parts of three seasons, Sasson has 23 goals and 53 points.
With Sasson getting his first taste of the NHL in 2024-25, he has not looked out of place during his five game stint. As someone who can fit into a bottom six role and still contribute, Sasson has put his name in the ring when it comes to solidifying a potential spot with the Canucks in the future.
