Vancouver Canucks Assign Filip Hronek To Abbotsford For Conditioning Stint
The Vancouver Canucks announced they have assigned defenseman Filip Hronek to their AHL affiliate Abbotsford Canucks for a conditioning stint.
Hronek suffered an upper-body injury in a Nov. 27 game against the Pittsburgh Penguins and underwent a lower-body procedure for an unrelated injury while recovering that forced him to miss six weeks of the season.
The 27-year-old has one goal and nine points in 21 games this season while averaging 23:36 of ice time per game.
The AHL transactions page notes this a a Conditioning Loan for Hronek which can last for a maximum 14 days. Hronek counts against the 23-man roster while on the loan.
General Manager Patrik Allvin announced today that D Filip Hronek has been assigned to Abbotsford (AHL) for conditioning.

Abbotsford play a back-to-back against the Henderson Silver Knights at home on Friday and Saturday.
