Valencia in talks to sign AS Roma star on loan with buy option
Valencia will look to sign a right-back during next month’s winter transfer window, given that they lost Thierry Correia for the rest of the season after he ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament against Getafe in October.
In recent weeks, they have been linked with several players, such as Ivan Fresneda and Gonzalo Montiel. However, a new name has added to the list in the last few days: Buba Sangare. As per Relevo, Valencia are already in talks with AS Roma over the possible signing of the 17-year-old defender, who previously played for Levante, Los Che’s bitter rivals.
It’s reported that Valencia will aim to sign Sangare on an initial six-month loan, although their desire would be to include an option to buy the teenager at the end of the season. The idea would be for him to start in the reserve team, so it is probable that he would be one of two right-backs to join in January.
