Valencia officially part ways with Rubén Baraja
LaLiga outfit Valencia have officially parted ways with coach Rubén Baraja.
The iconic former Los Ches midfielder, who was part of a team that won two league titles in 2001 and 2003, as well as winning the UEFA Cup (2003-04) and UEFA Super Cup (2004), has been unable to arrest the club's slide which now finds them bottom of the table.

Baraja, 49, first took charge in February of 2023 with some initial success, but as things stand, the club faces relegation down to the second tier of Spanish football for the first time since 1986.
In an official statement on their website, Valencia 'wishes Rubén Baraja the best of luck and much success in the future.'
