Utah Hockey Club's National Television Schedule Announced

As Utah Hockey Club and the 31 other teams around the league prepare for what will be a somber training camp, the NHL finished its national television preparations.

Cole Bagley and KSL Sports reported and confirmed Thursday that Utah HC will be on ESPN and TNT Sports, along with its streaming platforms, seven total times in the 2024-25 season.

And yes, amazingly, the former Arizona Coyotes only appeared once all season last year.

KSL Sports listed off the other appearances on ESPN and TNT Sports are as follows, not counting Utah HC's historic home opener as part of ESPN's tripleheader (times in Mountain):

  • Minnesota Wild vs. Utah HC; Thursday, December 10 at 7:30 p.m. (ESPN+/Hulu)

  • Colorado Avalanche vs. Utah HC; Friday, December 27 at 7:30 p.m. (ESPN2)

  • Florida Panthers vs. Utah HC; Wednesday, January 8 at 8:00 p.m. (TNT/Max)

  • Utah HC at Minnesota Wild; Thursday, January 23 at 6:00 p.m. (ESPN+/Hulu)

  • Pittsburgh Penguins vs. Utah HC; Wednesday, January 29 at 7:30 p.m. (TNT/Max)

  • Anaheim Ducks vs. Utah HC; Wednesday, March 12 at 8:00 p.m. (TNT/Max)

Definitely two of the games that stand out are Utah's first showdown with the Colorado Avalanche in their first game after the Christmas break, and a visit from the defending Stanley Cup champion Florida Panthers the week after New Year's Day.

Regardless, it's nice to see Utah getting some extra exposure on national television this season, and we can't wait to see what's next.
