The USGA is rolling out updated GHIN Rewind this month
A lot can happen in a year, and it can sometimes be difficult to remember what life was like in January as the year winds down in December.
For golfers, the same can be said. Come December, it can be hard to remember how many times you played earlier in the year and what your best rounds were.
That's where the U.S. Golf Association's GHIN Rewind comes in handy. Think Spotify Wrapped for your golf game.
GHIN Rewind is nothing new, but this year, the USGA revamped the year-in-review to let golfers have a more comprehensive look at their golf games in 2024.
Players can see their GHIN Rewind on the GHIN app, and will be available starting Dec. 16. For golfers to be eligible for GHIN Rewind, they must have posted at least three, 18-hole rounds.
GHIN Rewind includes detailed information from the past year like Handicap Index changes, average score, total rounds played, best and most challenging rounds, courses played, days and months played, hardest and easiest courses and most played courses.
While last year was a single-page summary of the year, GHIN Rewind now has a story-style format to showcase golfers' information. Each slide is designed to be sharable so golfers can showcase their accomplishments.
The initial data will be included through Nov. 30, 2024, and then the program will refresh in January 2025 to include full-year activity.
