USC vs. Arizona: How to watch Week 6 game plus odds, injuries, and 2023 schedules
More than 400 yards passing and four touchdowns from Heisman odds leader Caleb Williams gave No. 7 USC a 48-41 win over Colorado. Despite giving up more than 500 yards of offense to the Buffaloes, the Trojans (5-0, 3-0) stayed perfect in 2023.
“I promise you at the end of the year, nobody’s going to look back on this and care. They’re going to look back and see it was ‘W,'" Trojans coach Lincoln Riley said after the game.
Since Riley took over last season, the Trojans are 9-0 in August and September.
Arizona (3-2, 1-1) followed a one-point win over Stanford with a 31-24 loss to No. 8 Washington. The Wildcats kept things close thanks to playing things safe on defense and limiting the deep ball. Without starting quarterback Jayden de Laura, the Wildcats still managed 342 yards on offense.
“We went back and forth, we battled, we fought,” Arizona coach Jedd Fisch said after the game. “We’re a good football team, we just finished a little short in this one, maybe the next one we don't.”
This week, the Trojans host the Wildcats on Saturday with Arizona looking to pull the upset and improve in the Pac-12.
