USC adds Arizona transfer Dorian Singer, Pac-12's leading receiver
Dorian Singer is staying in the Pac-12 Conference — for the 2023 season, at least.
Singer, who led the Pac-12 in receiving yards this season for Arizona, announced Monday that he intends to transfer to USC. Singer, who just completed his sophomore season, caught 66 passes for 1,105 yards (a 16.7-yard average) and six touchdowns. For his efforts, he earned first-team All-Pac-12 honors.
When Arizona played USC, Singer had seven receptions for 141 yards and three touchdowns, so the USC staff saw his skillset up close and personal.
Singer has two seasons of eligibility remaining, so he could be part of USC as it transitions to the Big Ten in 2024. But in 2023, he is set to join an elite offense headlined by Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Caleb Williams.

Jordan Addison is expected to leave USC for the NFL, but Singer still joins an extremely talented group of receivers that also includes Mario Williams, Tahj Washington and Brenden Rice. The Trojans are also set to sign two acclaimed receiver prospects — five-star Zakariah Branch and four-star Makai Lemon. Branch is ranked No. 16 overall in the class of 2023 by Rivals. Lemon is No. 58 in the class.
Singer is the third Arizona player to transfer to USC this month, joining cornerback Christian Roland-Wallace and defensive lineman Kyon Barrs. USC has also added ex-Arizona State punter Eddie Czaplicki and ex-Georgia State linebacker Jamil Muhammad via the transfer portal.
After going 4-8 in 2021, USC thrived in its first season under Lincoln Riley. The Trojans are 11-2 and set to play in the Cotton Bowl vs. Tulane on Jan. 2, 2023.
USC played in the Pac-12 title game but lost to Utah. With a win, the Trojans were likely to earn a spot in the College Football Playoff. With the loss, USC fell to No. 10.
