USA Names Rivalry Series Roster
USA Hockey announced today their 21 player roster for the final two stops on the 2024-25 Rivalry Series.
Of the 21 players named, 17 were part of the Rivalry Series in November. Boston Fleet defender Sydney Bard will make her senior national team debut and she is joined on Team USA by returning players Jesse Compher, Gabby Rosenthal, and Anna Wilgren.
As is normally the case for the final leg of the Rivalry Series, USA’s roster will not include NCAA players.
The remainder of their roster includes Cayla Barnes, Hannah Bilka, Britta Curl-Salemme, Kendall Coyne Schofield, Aerin Frankel, Taylor Heise, Nicole Hensley, Gabbie Hughes, Savannah Harmon, Megan Keller, Kelly Pannek, Hilary Knight, Gwyneth Philips, Hayley Scamurra, Ally Simpson, and Grace Zumwinkle.
The February Rivalry Series games will take place at Scotiabank Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia, on Feb. 6 and at Credit Union Place in Summerside, P.E.I., on Feb. 8.
Canada enters the final two games of the Rivalry Series with a 2-1 advantage. The U.S. won game one by a 7-2 count in San Jose, California, on Nov. 6 before Canada took the next two games, with a 5-4 shootout win on Nov. 8 in Salt Lake City, Utah, and a 4-1 victory in Boise, Idaho, on Nov. 10.
