The United States Chooses Zach Werenski For The Four Nations Face-Off Team

Blue Jackets superstar defenseman Zach Werenski has been chosen by the United States to play in the Four Nations Face-Off which is scheduled to take place February 12–20.

Werenski will be joined by Quinn Hughes, Charlie McAvoy, Adam Fox, Jaccob Slavin, Brock Faber, and Noah Hanafin on the blue line.

The Blue Jackets defenseman is no stranger to international play. He's played for the U17 team and Captained the U20 team in 2016. He's also played in two IIHF World Championship teams, including this past summer. In 10 WC games, he has 7 points.

Werenski has been on another level this year, both offensively and defensively. He's even fighting this year!

As of today, he's currently third in points among defensemen with 26, tied for the league lead in goals(8), and tied for fifth in assists(18).

Zach Werenski has been the best player on the team so far this season, and picking him to play for the U.S. was a no-brainer.
