Man United can sign Lille forward in huge bargain deal

Manchester United have had an underwhelming start to the Premier League campaign, picking up 12 points from their opening ten games.

They have lacked a cutting edge in the final third with just nine goals. This could persuade the hierarchy to invest in another striker in January.

The Canada international has been a mainstay for the Ligue 1 giants since his arrival from Gent in 2020.

The 24-year-old had 35 goal contributions in 47 outings last term and he has continued his sparkling form with 15 goal involvements in 18 appearances this season.

Questions have been raised over his presence in the big games. He has answered his critics with four goals against Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Juventus in the Champions League.

This could be the reason behind the high-profile interest. United seem keen on securing a bargain deal and could have the upper hand over Juventus, who are long-term admirers.
