‘Unfair situation’ – Hansi Flick could sanction Barcelona youngster’s exit in January
Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick could sanction the mid-season departure of a young member of his midfield ranks.
That’s according to Diario Sport, who point towards Pablo Torre as the player in question.
Youngster Torre, for his part, has of course seen his opportunities to contribute gradually decrease over the early months of the season.
After initially playing an important role in Hansi Flick’s squad amid a shortage of options in the middle of the park, the 21-year-old has since not taken to the pitch in a competitive setting for over a month.
This comes with the likes of Dani Olmo, Fermín López and Gavi now back fully fit and firing.
And the significance of as much has not been lost on Torre’s manager…
As per a report from Sport:
‘Hansi Flick understands that it is an unfair situation because he has talent and is giving everything but the competition is very high and most likely he will continue to be ostracized.’
Whilst the coaching staff in Catalunya’s capital would ideally like to keep hold of Torre for the entirety of the term, in the case of the Spaniard seeking out a January exit, Flick and co. will therefore not stand in his way.
