Yahoo Sports Under Armour debuts second iteration of Flow Velociti Wind running shoe

Marathons are returning this year, and Under Armour wants to ensure participants and avid joggers alike have the best footwear to power them from mile 1 to the final stretch. In February, the Baltimore-based sportswear lined released the second generation of its popular running shoe the UA Flow Velociti Wind 2 and according to the release, the sneaker is supposed "to bring runners up to speed — literally."
If you were a fan of the first iteration, then the updates in the UA Flow Velociti Wind 2 are worth perking your ears up for. The lightweight construction is achieved by eliminating the rubber outsole, effectively reducing the trainer's weight by 2-3 ounces. Perfect for speed over long distances, the updated foam boasts naturally sticky traction, promising longterm energy return and dependable endurance that will have you reaching for these kicks time and time again.

With the Flow Velociti Wind 2, the Under Armour team also unveiled a new detail unseen on previous trainers: Tatami stitch heel. A premium feature that yields a more consistent lockdown around the heel, molded EVA sockliner and perhaps most importantly, more comfort and flexibility and cushioning for high-mileage efficiency.
Available in both men's and women's sizes, the UA Flow Velociti Wind 2 retails for $160 and comes in four different colorways for men and six for women. Both are linked ahead.
