UFC president Dana White: 'Brock Lesnar is coming back'
Brock Lesnar is going to return to the UFC.
UFC president Dana White said on UFC Tonight on Wednesday that the 40-year-old heavyweight will return to the UFC in the near future.
“Yeah, Brock Lesnar is coming back,” White said. “I don’t know when, but yes he is.”

Apparently this isn’t just “promoter talk” from White, either. A deal, while not finalized, is said to be in place for his return to UFC.
According to multiple sources, this isn’t promoter talk from White. UFC is confident Lesnar will be back after his WWE duties are wrapped up on Sunday. A deal is in place. Key now is to finalize it. https://t.co/ttaxduf15J

Lesnar’s latest WWE contract is almost up, with many expecting his final fight to be against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 34 this weekend.
“The reasons are rather public,” Paul Heyman told the New York Post on Tuesday. “Brock is eyeballing a return to the octagon. He’s made no secret about it. He’s out in Las Vegas at the UFC offices taking a selfie with Dana White wearing a UFC T-shirt. These are not secret negotiations.”
Lesnar was fined $250,000 and suspended for one year after failing two drug tests before his UFC fight against Mark Hunt in July 2016.
Lesnar retired in February 2017, and his suspension was frozen. Lesnar would have to serve the rest of his suspension before receiving clearance to fight again in the UFC.
