UFC London adds 4 fights including ex-Cage Warriors champ battle
The UFC heads back to London in March and while not finalized, the fight card is filling up.
UFC Fight Night 255 takes place March 22 at O2 Arena and is expected to be headlined by a battle between former welterweight champion Leon Edwards (22-4 MMA, 13-4 UFC) and rising contender Jack Della Maddalena (17-2 MMA, 7-0 UFC).
Up to a total of 11 fights, the promotion recently made four more bouts official on social media. Scroll below to see the newest additions, as well as the full current fight card.
Morgan Charriere vs. Nathaniel Wood
Former Cage Warriors champions Morgan Charriere and Nathaniel Wood will square off in a featherweight battle sure to thrill European fans and beyond.
Wood (20-6 MMA, 8-3) has found new life at featherweight. After six UFC fights at bantamweight, Wood moved up a weight class and has since gone 4-1 with wins over Charles Rosa, Charles Jourdain, Andre Fili, and Daniel Pineda. His lone loss at 145 pounds came vs. Muhammad Naimov.
Charriere (20-10-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC) aims to win back-to-back fights for the first time in his UFC tenure. He kicked off his UFC career (literally) with a body kick TKO of Manolo Zecchini before a split decision loss to Chepe Mariscal. He bounced back in September when he knocked out Gabriel Miranda.
Jai Herbert vs. Chris Padilla
England's Jai Herbert will welcome the United States' Chris Padilla to his home soil in a lightweight clash.
Herbert (13-5-1 MMA, 3-4-1 UFC) has produced mixed results in his UFC career but his resume has aged well. His wins have come over Kyle Nelson, Rolando Bedoya, and Khama Worthy. His losses were against Ilia Topuria, Renato Moicano, Fares Ziam and Francisco Trinaldo. He also drew with Ludovit Klein.
Padilla (15-6 MMA, 2-0 UFC) finally broke through in 2024. A longtime veteran of the regional scene, Padilla stepped into a short-notice UFC opportunity and submitted James Llontop in Round 1. He then earned a gnarly doctor stoppage TKO against Zhu Rong to extend his winning streak to five.
Felipe Dos Santos vs. Lone'er Kavanagh
Exciting flyweight up-and-comers Felipe Dos Santos and Lone'er Kavanagh will have many diehards circling their bout on the London fight card.
Dos Santos (8-2 MMA, 1-2 UFC) made quite the impact in his UFC debut when he put forth a Fight of the Night-earning battle with Manel Kape in February 2024. He lost that bout by unanimous decision, then turned around and defeated Victor Altamirano five months later. In September he lost a unanimous decision to Andre Lima.
Kavanagh (8-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) has fight fans buzzing after his Dana White's Contender Series performance in 2024, followed by his debut win over Jose Ochoa in November. Kavanagh is only 25 years old and has yet to lose as a professional.
Nathan Fletcher vs. Caolan Loughran
Caolan Loughran welcomes Nathan Fletcher to featherweight.
Fletcher (9-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC) competed on "The Ultimate Fighter 32" and was eliminated in the opening round by eventual finalist Kaan Ofli. He was granted a UFC opportunity anyway and defeated fellow castmember Zygimantas Ramaska by second-round submission.
Loughran (9-2 MMA, 1-2 UFC) has showed off solid skills and the gift of the gab thus far in his UFC career – but might be in dire need of a win. His lone UFC victory over Angel Pacheco is sandwiched between losses to Taylor Lapilus and Jake Hadley.
