Yahoo Sports UFC Fight Night 75: Barnett vs. Nelson Attendance Figures from Japan
The Ultimate Fighting Championship revealed their attendance numbers for UFC Fight Night 75: Barnett vs. Nelson during the event’s post-fight press conference on Saturday.
A total of 10,137 spectators witnessed eighth-ranked heavyweight Josh Barnett batter 11th-ranked Roy Nelson in the fight card’s main event inside the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan.

The numbers were slightly down from the last event the Las Vagas-based fight promotion held at the venue. UFC Fight Night 52: Hunt vs. Nelson drew 12,395 in attendance in September 2014. Those numbers were lower still than the organization’s previous trip to Saitama. UFC on Fuel TV: Silva vs. Stann brought in 14,682 spectors in March 2013.
The attendance numbers for Saturday’s event were half the announced figures for the first UFC event held at the famed arena in February of 2012. UFC 144: Edgar vs. Henderson drew a sellout crowd of 21,000 at that time.
