With UFC 279 in the works, multiple bouts shift as September schedule tweaks
A few changes have hit the UFC schedule for September.
The promotion plans to switch the Sept. 10 event from its original UFC Fight Night designation to a UFC 279 pay-per-view with Atlanta and Boston currently being tossed around as potential locations.
Three bouts scheduled for the UFC Fight Night event on Sept. 10 have moved back one week to Sept. 17. Previously, there was no event scheduled for that date.
Multiple people with knowledge of the changes recently informed MMA Junkie of the promotion’s tweak in plans and targeted locations. However, they asked to remain anonymous as the UFC has yet to make an official announcement.
The following bouts have moved from Sept. 10 vs. Sept. 17, MMA Junkie has confirmed:

Nikolas Motta vs. Cameron VanCamp
