UFC 201 Early Weigh-in Results: Lawler vs. Woodley Set; Flyweight Bout Nixed

The UFC 201 welterweight title fight between champion Robbie Lawler and challenger Tyron Woodley is official for Saturday night's event in Atlanta, following Friday's early morning official weigh-in.

There will still be a public weigh-in Friday afternoon for fans to tune in and watch, but the official weights were recorded before Georgia Athletic and Entertainment Commission officials in the morning.

Lawler and Woodley made their main event bout official, with each man weighing the 170-pound limit.

Also featured on the card, in the night's co-main event, is a strawweight battle between Rose Namajunas and Karolina Kowalkiewicz, who both easily made weight.

One fight that didn't make it to the card was the planned UFC 201 pay-per-view opener, a flyweight fight between Justin Scoggins and Ian “Uncle Creepy” McCall. Scoggins had to withdraw from the bout on Thursday when his weight cutting procedure went sideways. McCall still weighed in on Friday at 126 pounds. He will serve as a back-up in case anything forces one of the other flyweight fighters from competing.

UFC 201: Lawler vs. Woodley takes place on Saturday, July 30, at Philips Arena in Atlanta.
