The two traded light strikes for the opening stages of the fight, but Letourneau was able to get the champion to the ground where she landed a number of short strikes. Jedrzejczyk returned to the feet where later in the round she landed a front kick flat on her opponent’s face, stunning Letourneau for a moment. Jedrzejczyk followed up with strikes as her opponent backed against the cage.

Letourneau kept the fight close, trading shots and not backing down against the champion in the second round. The challenger did well to counter and landed two significant right hands.

Jedrzejczyk turned up the volume in the third round, out-striking Letourneau for a large portion of the frame. The low kick proved effective for Jedrzejczyk, leaving her opponent noticeably limping in some moments with obvious welts on the thigh.

The fourth round had Jedrzejczyk controlling the fight from beginning to end. She continued landing the low kick, and she followed up with several combinations that left Letourneau eating punches from all angles. Jedrzejczyk’s push continued into fifth before she was announced the winner.

With the win, Jedrzejczyk improves to 11-0, maintaining her perfect record in mixed martial arts.
