Yahoo Sports Uber driver catches her ‘man’ with another woman after unknowingly picking them up for a ride: ‘I would never recover’
An Uber driver is going viral after sharing the wild story of how she accidentally caught her “man” in a lie.
The wild saga began when a TikTok user named Jen (@jword444) shared a short video explaining what happened on a recent Friday night when she decided to make some extra money.
“When you decide to stay in on a Friday, drive for Uber and your man gets in the backseat with another girl,” the clip’s caption read.
The video immediately drew millions of views and plenty of stunned reactions from commenters.
“I would never recover,” one user wrote.
“Did you complete the ride?” another asked.
“I just feel so bad, but at the same time, if that’s not fate, idk what is,” another wrote.
Naturally, TikTokers also wanted more details. Jen quickly obliged with a series of follow-up clips in which she explained what happened that night — and in the days that followed.
In her first follow-up video, she explained that she met the guy on Hinge and that they were “not dating,” although they’d hung out several times, and it seemed to be going well.
The real issue, Jen revealed, is that she was lied to. As she explains in that clip, she asked the guy if he wanted to hang out that Friday, and he said he was going to a hockey game with his buddy. They made plans to hang out on Saturday instead, and Jen decided to spend the night making some money.
That’s when she realized she’d been lied to. At some point during the night, two customers got into her backseat. It took a second to recognize them through masks, but Jen eventually realized it was the guy and some other girl.
Jen says they clearly made eye contact and shared the realization, but the guy said nothing. For her, that was confirmation that this other girl was more than a friend.
Five minutes after she dropped them off, the guy called her to apologize.

“He was like, ‘I knew that was you, I should’ve said something … I was in shock,'” Jen recalled.
A few days later, Jen managed to track down the other girl through mutual friends. Together, they realized they’d both been hanging out with the same guy. After that, Jen confronted the guy in person — and, based on her videos, it doesn’t sound like they’ll be going out again.
