Tyreek Hill trade rumors: Dolphins WR 'focused on right here' amid Chiefs speculation
The Miami Dolphins' 1-3 start to the 2024 NFL season has made Tyreek Hill the subject of some early trade rumors.
The veteran wide-out is hoping that nothing comes of that speculation.
Hill was asked about the trade rumors surrounding him at Wednesday's practice, specifically, the speculation that the Kansas City Chiefs could be interested in him after Rashee Rice's potential season-ending injury.

Tyreek Hill's response to trade rumors
Hill emphatically indicated that he wanted to remain with the Dolphins despite their slow start.
"I'm just focused on right here and right now," the 30-year-old receiver told reporters. "We've got a beautiful team here, and I wanna be a part of it."
Hill elaborated that several factors have made him love his "great situation" in Miami.
"My family loves it," Hill explained. "I enjoy it; the weather's great; the fans are great; so, we've got a beautiful situation here."
However, Hill also knows that the Dolphins' performance might dictate whether he remains with the team beyond the 2024 NFL trade deadline or plays for another team. The team has struggled since Tua Tagovailoa went down with a concussion in Week 2, and if he doesn't return to action, Miami could become a trade deadline seller.
That's part of the reason Hill is at least paying attention to the trade rumors, as he demonstrated with a cryptic social media post hours before the Dolphins' practice Wednesday.

It's also why Hill isn't stressing too much about potentially being traded if Miami's struggles continue.
"My parents always taught me [to] control the controllables," Hill said. "I only can control so much. We all know the NFL is a business. Whatever happens, happens."

That could ultimately be a trade that sends the five-time All-Pro away from the Dolphins. If Hill has it his way, the 30-year-old will continue his career in Miami for 2024 and beyond.
"Moving forward, I would love to be here," he said. "I love being here."
