Chicago Bears rookie Caleb Williams has often drawn comparisons to Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes given his impressive playmaking ability, which has already been on display through two preseason games.

Williams drew praise from those around the league watching the Bears in action against the Cincinnati Bengals, including someone quite familiar with Mahomes: Former Chiefs and current Miami Dolphins receiver Tyreek Hill, and he had high praise for Williams.

"Caleb Williams so nice he remind me of ......," Hill wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

And I think we all can fill in the blank as to who Hill is referencing: Mahomes.

After a slow start in the first quarter -- where Chicago had back-to-back-to-back three and outs -- Williams came alive in the second quarter with his final two drives of the game, leading the Bears to 10 points. Also on display was Williams' impressive improvisation and playmaking ability.

With under two minutes left in the first half, Williams marched the offense downfield for the starting offense's first touchdown of the preseason, and he showcased why he's special. That included Williams running to his left and delivering a deep pass to rookie receiver Rome Odunze for a 45-yard gain.

With Chicago in the red zone, Williams nearly connected on what would've been another impressive completion to Odunze for a touchdown, but Odunze stepped out of bounds in the back of the end zone. Facing third-and-goal, Williams scrambled for a seven-yard touchdown to give the Bears a 10-0 lead. He ended the day completing 6-of-13 passes for 75 yards with one rushing score.
