Tyreek Hill impressed with Chiefs rookie Xavier Worthy’s electric TD in debut
Not a bad start to Xavier Worthy’s career, eh?
Worthy, who was the Chiefs’ first-round pick in this year’s draft, scored a touchdown the first time he touched the ball in an NFL regular-season game.
After the Ravens scored on the opening drive in Thursday’s NFL Kickoff Game at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, the Chiefs got the ball and needed just five plays to move 67 yards for a score.
It was capped by Worthy’s 21-yard touchdown run. Worthy famously had the fastest 40-yard dash time in NFL Combine history, and his blazing speed was on display.
There was some great blocking down the field by the Chiefs offensive line and tight end Travis Kelce, but Worthy also turned on the jets.
This was an electric touchdown.
