Two former Barcelona stars set to join forces at Santos
A pair of former Barcelona stars could well be in line to join forces back in their home country of Brazil this month.
That’s according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, who points towards Neymar and Arthur Melo as the players in question.
It is of course common knowledge at this point that Blaugrana icon Neymar is primed for a return to his home country, having agreed on the terms of a short-term deal with boyhood club Santos.
An official announcement regarding the move is expected imminently.

Al Hilal have terminated Ney’s contract with immediate effect as the Brazilian will now travel for medical and sign in as new Santos player.

And, as alluded to above, if the latest word stemming from the media on Wednesday is anything to go by, then Neymar could well be joined by a one-time international teammate back in Brazil this month.
As per a report from Fabrizio Romano:
‘Understand Santos are in advanced talks to sign Arthur Melo on loan deal from Juventus. The agreement for former Liverpool midfielder would also include a buy option clause.’
