Two Everett Silvertips On Pace To Break Franchise Records
The Everett Silvertips are off to a hot start in 2024-25. They lead the WHL with 23 wins and have constantly been found at the top of the weekly WHL Power Rankings. On pace for just their second 50-win season, the 2024-25 campaign could also see multiple players set new franchise records.
The first record projected to fall is points by a player in a season. Currently, that record is held by Patrick Bajkov, who in 2017-18 recorded the only 100-point season for Everett. Thanks to their hot starts, that record could fall this season as both Carer Bear and Tyler MacKenzie are on pace for over 100 points.

A 2025 NHL-Draft prospect, Bear is lightning up the WHL left, right and center. He has 46 points in 22 games, which ranks fourth in the league this season. Projected by some outlets to be a first-round pick, Bear recently saw his NHL Central Scouting raised from a "B" ranking to an "A."
The other player who is on pace to surpass Bajkov is MacKenzie. In his first year with the Silvertips, the 20-year-old is thriving, with 23 goals and 45 points in 29 games. Just two points away from tying his career-high in points, MacKenzie is a candidate for acquisition of the year after his strong start to the season.
Both players are also on pace to smash the goals in a season record, which is currently held by Jackson Berezowski, who scored 48 times in 2022-23. Both Bear and MacKenzie are on pace for over 50 goals and sit third and fourth in WHL goal scoring. Based on the way Everett's offence has been operating, it is safe to say this record will fall by the end of the season.

The question now is, which player will set which record? Bear is on pace to have more points, while MacKenize currently leads in goals. This race will be a must-follow for the rest of the season as both Bear and MacKenize look to etch their name into Silvertips history.
