This year's list is loaded with talented players, including Jonathan Lekkerimäki and Tom Willander, who are both in the top 20. As for the number one prospect, that is none other than North Vancouver's Macklin Celebrini, who is a Calder Trophy favourite heading into the season.

The first Canucks prospect mentioned is Lekkerimäki at 15th. Drafted 15th overall in 2022, the 20-year-old winger is coming off a historic campaign that saw him win multiple awards, including World Juniors MVP, SHL Rookie of the Year, and Swedish Junior Hockey Player of the Year. Projected to start the season in the AHL with the Abbotsford Canucks, it shouldn't be long before he is called up and filling the back of the net at Rogers Arena.

As for Willander, he is not far behind Lekkerimäki at 18th. The right-shot defenceman is headed back to Boston University for a second season and is projected to be one of the top defenders in the NCAA this season. Willander, who was drafted 11th overall in 2023, is also expected to play a big role for Team Sweden at the upcoming World Juniors set to take place in Ottawa.
