Two Barcelona youngsters dealt injury blows
The reserve outfit at La Liga giants Barcelona have on Friday announced a double blow on the personnel front.
This comes amid confirmation that both Alexis Olmedo and Noah Darvich are set for incoming spells on the treatment table.
Defender Olmedo has played an important role for Albert Sánchez’s Barca Atlètic across the season to date, racking up 17 league appearances.
Safe to say, then, that some reshuffling will be required on the part of the Blaugrana’s part moving forward.
As per a statement across the website and social media platforms of Barca Atlètic:
‘Barça Atlètic player Alexis Olmedo has a stress fracture in the femur of his right leg. He will be out for an estimated 3 months.’

And, as alluded to above, Olmedo is not the only one primed for a spell on the sidelines…
Noah Darvich, for his part, has also played an increasingly prominent role for Barcelona’s reserve outfit over recent months, boasting 15 appearances in 2024/25 all told.
The German, too, though, has this week suffered an injury setback:
‘Barça Atlètic player Noah Darvich has an injury to the biceps femoris of his left leg. The time of return to training will be determined by his progress.’
