Two Barcelona stars ‘flatly refusing’ to leave

Two leading members of the first-team ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona are point blank refusing to even entertain the possibility of departing the club this summer.

That’s according to Catalunya Ràdio, who point towards Raphinha and Frenkie de Jong as the players in question.

Both wide-man Raphinha and midfielder De Jong have of course been hotly tipped for departures from Catalunya’s capital over recent weeks.

This comes amid efforts on the part of Deco and co. to secure fresh funds to put towards incomings of their own.

To date, as much has proven tough to come by, owing to a combination of factors.

And, if the latest word stemming from the media on Tuesday night is anything to come by, this situation looks unlikely to change for Barcelona any time soon.

As per a report from the aforementioned Cat Ràdio:

‘The players with whom more could be done, Raphinha and Frenkie de Jong, flatly refuse to leave the Catalan club. Both have expressed to those in charge of the sports area their decision to continue wearing the Blaugrana shirt.’
