Manchester United midfielder Christian Eriksen is reportedly not on the radar of Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce, despite suggestions that the Super Lig giants are interested in him.

Eriksen is widely expected to leave United once his contract expires in the summer of 2025.

The Red Devils are not expected to offer him a new deal and as it stands, he will be free to depart Old Trafford as a free agent.

A recent report covered by The Peoples Person relayed that Celtic are eyeing a January move for Eriksen, although his high wages could eventually prove to be a stumbling block.

The Dane has also been linked to Fenerbahce. It was mentioned that Mourinho – who worked with Eriksen at Tottenham Hotspur – is keen on reuniting with him in Turkey.

The report divulged that Mourinho had already given his seal of approval for Fenerbahce to pursue Eriksen during the winter transfer window.

However, according to journalist Rudy Galetti, the 32-year-old is currently not a player that Fenerbahce are chasing.

Galetti wrote on X, “Despite some rumors, Fenerbahce don’t consider Christian Eriksen a concrete target.”

“The Turkish club is looking around to strengthen the midfield but, to date, the Man United player is not under its radar.”

Eriksen has not featured for United since Ruben Amorim’s first match against Ipswich Town. On that occasion, he started alongside Casemiro in the middle of the park but they didn’t work too well as a partnership.

He missed the 4-0 win against Everton with an injury but was back in the matchday squad for Wednesday’s 2-0 loss at the hands of Arsenal. Eriksen did not feature in the meeting with the Gunners.

Eriksen has made 14 appearances across all competitions this term. He has registered an impressive four goals and three assists in that period.
