Trust in Camarda drives Milan to want Fullkrug

Milan are closing to agreeing a deal with Borussia Dortmund for Niclas Fullkrug, a signing guided by their belief in young talent Francesco Camarda.

The Rossoneri have already brought in a reinforcement to bolster their attack following Olivier Giroud’s exit, signing Alvaro Morata from Atletico Madrid for €13m. He’s agreed to a four-year contract with an option for a fifth, ready to prove himself to Paulo Fonseca.

Milan are in the early stages of the new project and have already started looking to the future, setting up their Under-23 ‘Futuro’ squad in Serie C, following in the footsteps of Juventus and Atalanta.

Page 13 of today’s Tuttosport details how Milan have a clear strategy in mind, guiding their decision to sign Morata and work to bring in Fullkrug from Borussia Dortmund, who want €15m for the 31-year-old German striker.

The Rossoneri greatly believe in the qualities of Camarda and hope he can be their star striker in the future, prompting them to focus on experienced strikers for the time being.
