Travis Kelce Is Clapping Back At Claims Saying He's 'Always Drunk' & Causing Taylor Swift To Drink More

Earlier this week, country singer and actor Jana Kramer took to her podcast to, well, slander Travis Kelce's name. The iHeart Radio host dissed the Kansas City Chiefs tight end for his drinking habits and claimed he's "always drunk." Now, Kelce is hitting back via multiple insiders.

"He was taken aback as he’s never met her and is just living his life," the source told Page Six while "emphatically" denying any suggestion the athlete has a drinking problem. "That guy is under a microscope, basically being watched everywhere he goes. Of course you're going to see him drinking," the source said.

Kramer even took aim at Kelce's influence on his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, arguing that he has encouraged the singer's consumption habits.

"I see her drinking more now. Like, the company you keep," Kramer alleged, while also calling Kelce out for his "aggression" with coach Andy Reid during the Super Bowl. It "rubbed [her] the wrong way."

The same insider went on to argue that if Kelce did have a drinking problem, it would be impossible to hide given his status and constant

"It’s not like he’s passed out somewhere. If he was passed out somewhere, I would totally understand, but that’s not the case whatsoever," the source adds, while noting that he's just a "normal human being" who is "doing the same thing" as everyone else...only "in the public eye."

The three-time Super Bowl champ is reportedly "in training right now" to prepare for another season with the Chiefs. "If he was drunk, it would be a bigger problem," the source said.

This isn't the first time Kelce has come under fire for drinking. During his honorary graduation ceremony for his "New Heights" podcast, Travis accepted the diploma he never picked up in the first place before chugging a beer in celebration. However, big brother Jason was quick to his defense.

"I know it looks like a graduation from the video, but this was actually at the end of a New Heights Live podcast that we put on to raise money for the University’s NIL," the older Kelce said, according to People Magazine. "The university did this to poke fun at my brother and I for never really picking up our diplomas."
