Travis Dermott Will Make His Wild Debut Against Vegas

ST. PAUL - The Minnesota Wild (20-6-4) are set to host the Vegas Golden Knights (19-8-3) tonight for a 5:00 p.m. game.

Wild head coach John Hynes said pregame that there would be a few question marks ahead of the game.

The Wild placed forward Jakub Lauko on the Injured Reserve after the game and recalled Jesper Wallstedt to start with Filip Gustavsson out.

With no Lauko, Devin Shore will draw back in. Yakov Trenin who missed Saturday's game, will also not play again.

Reese Johnson, who played on Saturday, will be available to play but it seems like the Wild will go with 11 forwards and seven defensemen against Vegas instead.

"Shore will go back in and Johnson will come out," Hynes said pregame. "Then we'll have a decision on D. We could go 11 and 7 or we might go 12 and 6. It'll be game time."

This means that Travis Dermott will make his Wild debut tonight. He was recently claimed off waivers by the Wild on Friday.
