Transfer chaos at Bologna sparks Manchester United’s interest for Dan Ndoye and Joshua Zirkzee

Manchester United are considering a move for Bologna attackers Dan Ndoye and Joshua Zirkzee.

According to Blick, Ndoye’s agent, Fahd Adamson, has hinted at a potential transfer for his client, with United among the interested parties.

The ongoing transfer activities at Bologna could see Ndoye make a move to Old Trafford.

The Swiss winger, currently with Bologna, is being followed by several English clubs, including Man United.

His agent has emphasized the need to carefully evaluate any transfer to avoid hindering Ndoye’s career progression.

Bologna, who recently secured Nicolò Cambiaghi from Atalanta, are now faced with the potential departure of the 23 yer old.

Nicolo Cambiaghi, who had a productive loan spell at Empoli with 8 goals and 7 assists over 66 appearances, is set to join Bologna on a contract until 2028.

This acquisition seemed to settle Bologna’s wing positions, especially with Alexis Saelemaekers’ departure.

However, Ndoye’s situation remains fluid, as United’s interest could prompt a significant reshuffling.

Meanwhile, United are also involved in negotiations for Bologna’s striker Joshua Zirkzee.

Discussions are focused on structuring a deal that would allow United to pay a higher transfer fee in instalments, rather than activating his release clause outright.

This move is part of United’s broader strategy to bolster their attacking options ahead of the new season.

The potential exits of both Ndoye and Zirkzee signify a challenging transfer window for Bologna, who are keen to retain their key players after already confirming the departures of Riccardo Calafiori, Rasmus Kristensen, and Saelemaekers.

With Sporting Lisbon showing renewed interest in Fotis Ioannidis, Bologna’s focus will likely shift towards finding a reliable striker to replace Zirkzee.

Adding further complexity, Bologna are exploring defensive reinforcements, with interest in high-profile free agents like Mats Hummels and Joel Matip, and younger talents such as Jaka Bijol of Udinese and Leonardo Balerdi of Marseille.

The club’s ambition to balance experience with potential is clear, as they navigate a highly competitive transfer market.
