Traffic impacts in Parkland as brush fire closes state highway
A brush fire was reportedly blocking state Route 7 near 114th Street South in Parkland on Friday.
Central Pierce Fire & Rescue and the Washington State Patrol responded at about 1:20 p.m.
Updated: Update 1:31 PM : On SR 7 SB at 114th St S (MP 52) there is a brush fire blocking all lanes. Fire Assistance and the State Patrol have arrived on the scene.

The fire was blocking all lanes, according to a tweet from the Washington State Department of Transportation.
Delays were expected as there was only one lane being used to alternate northbound and southbound traffic while the fire department worked to extinguish the fire.
The brush fire was cleared and all lanes on Route 7 were reopened at about 2:15 p.m., according to a tweet from the WSDOT.
