Touted recruit Linkon Cure ready to choose between KU, K-State, Oregon and Texas A&M

One of the best high school tight ends in the entire country is ready to announce where he plans to play college football.

Kansas coach Lance Leipold and K-State coach coach Chris Klieman will both nervously wait a few more days to learn his decision.

Linkon Cure, a 6-foot-4 and 210-pound tight end from Goodland, has revealed that he will choose between KU, K-State, Oregon and Texas A&M during a commitment ceremony in his hometown at 4 p.m. on Monday.

All four schools would love to add Cure to their 2025 recruiting class. That much is obvious by the amount of time that all four have spent recruiting him over the past few months.

Cure has made official visits to all four places and holds scholarship offers from more than 30 FBS teams.

He has been a high recruiting priority for both KU and K-State.

Last weekend, he made a recruiting visit to Manhattan. Pictures of him posing in a K-State uniform with quarterback Avery Johnson and running back Dylan Edwards were spread across the internet by excited EMAW supporters. Before that, he visited Lawrence and KU fans reacted the same way.

Cure is a five-star recruit, according to 247Sports. He is a four-star recruit at On3, ESPN and Rivals. Regardless, all four recruiting services consider him to be one of the best recruits in the Sunflower State and a top-70 recruit at the national level.

He figures to make a big impact in college as a tight end who can both block at the line of scrimmage and catch passes down field.

The world will know his future plans early next week.
