Tottenham's best players in 3-0 win over Man Utd
Tottenham Hotspur put in a season-best performance at Old Trafford on Sunday, thumping a sorry Manchester United by three goals to nil.
Brennan Johnson, Dejan Kulusevski and Dominic Solanke secured the statement victory, with United reduced to ten-men late in the first half when Bruno Fernandes received his marching orders.
Here's Tottenham's best-performing players in the win, according to 90min's esteemed player ratings.
Tottenham's best player vs Man Utd
Micky van de Ven: 9/10
Despite being a literal centre-back, Micky Van de Ven ran 75 yards with the ball and picked out Johnson with a beautiful cross to help Spurs open the scoring inside the first three minutes.
That genuinely all-time bit of centre-back play would've been enough to earn Van de Ven the player of the match award, but he was also brilliant throughout the rest of the game too - completing a quite ridiculous 97% of his passes.
Honourable mentions
Dejan Kulusevski: 9/10
When a 9/10 rated player is only an 'honourable mention', you know a team played pretty damn well.
Kulusevski has been inarguably Tottenham's most in-form player of the 2024/25 season so far, and his string of impressive performances continued on Sunday.
The Swede was at his electric best at Old Trafford, creating a whopping nine chances for his teammates and capping off his performance with a well-taken goal in the second half.
Brennan Johnson: 9/10
The Welsh winger has been in the form of his life in recent weeks, netting his fourth goal in four games to break the deadlock early and set Spurs on their way.
Along with that goal, Johnson also caused United's defence a boatload of problems with his incessant running in behind - teeing up Kulusevski for the second of the games precisely thanks to one of those clever runs.
His dad, former United youth team striker David Johnson, was proudly watching in the stands.
