Tottenham vs Chelsea: Premier League prediction, team news, line-ups, start time, live, TV, head to head, odds

Tottenham will seek to make Wembley their Premier League fortress as champions Chelsea prepare for the first London derby of the 2017-18 season.

Antonio Conte's title holders are in disarray with a depleted squad losing 3-2 to Burnley at Stamford Bridge in their opening game, while the Italian coach seeks new signings to bolster his squad.

Spurs looked in fine form as they beat Newcastle 2-0 away to open their campaign in style, and will be boosted after announcing a £40million deal to sign Davinson Sanchez from Ajax.

But while Spurs fans may be the happier of the two sets of supporters, the north Londoers fared poorly at Wembley last term - and Chelsea are still the reigning champions, despite what recent performances may suggest.

Team news

Kieran Trippier could be fit for Sunday's clash. The right-back has been missing with an ankle injury and will be assessed on Saturday, but fellow England international Danny Rose (knee) remains sidelined, as does Erik Lamela (hip).

Georges-Kevin Nkoudou (foot) is another absentee as striker Harry Kane goes in search of his first-ever Premier League goal in the month of August.

Provisional squad: Lloris, Vorm, Lopez, Davies, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Dier, Wimmer, Trippier, Walker-Peters, Wanyama, Shashoua, Dembele, Eriksen, Alli, Sissoko, Onomah, Lesniak, Winks, Edwards, Son, Janssen, Kane.

Tiemoue Bakayoko could make his Chelsea debut with the midfielder set to be rushed back despite not being match fit.

Defender Gary Cahill and midfielder Cesc Fabregas are suspended following their dismissals against Burnley, but Victor Moses is back from a ban.

Pedro (ankle) is a major doubt, while Eden Hazard (broken ankle) remains out and striker Diego Costa is still in exile.

Provisional squad: Courtois, Caballero, Rudiger, Alonso, Kante, Pedro, Bakayoko, Moses, Willian, Batshuayi, Azpilicueta, Luiz, Eduardo, Christiansen, Tomori, Musonda, Boga, Remy, Scott.
