Tottenham suspend Yves Bissouma after laughing gas incident

Tottenham have suspended midfielder Yves Bissouma with the midfielder set to miss their Premier League opener on Monday.

Spurs travel to Leicester for their first game of the new season but they will be without the Mali international after he was reprimanded by the club.

Bissouma filmed himself inhaling laughing gas earlier this week and as such, has been withdrawn from their squad for the game against the Foxes.

As reported by the Evening Standard, coach Ange Postecoglou said: “There’s some trust building to do between Biss & me and Biss and the group.”

Bissouma played in almost all of Tottenham’s pre-season games this summer and was likely to start against Steve Cooper’s side.
