The list of parties interested in RC Lens’ Abukodir Khusanov (20) is growing. As reported by Foot Mercato, Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Luís Campos met with the defender’s entourage recently with a view to a potential move in January, whilst Mohamed Toubache-Ter has also revealed an interest from La Liga giants Atletico Madrid.

Ideally, Lens are looking to retain Khusanov this January, however, having not made the necessary sales in the summer, Les Sang et Or could be forced to offload the Uzbekistan international, in the event of a big offer. According to The Telegraphthat may come from the Premier League.

The English publication is reporting that both Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United have enquired about the feasibility of a deal this January with a figure of €30m touted. Such a figure may force Lens to sell Khusanov, who was bought from Belarussian side Energetik-BGU for €100,000 just 18 months ago.

With PSG, Atletico Madrid, Tottenham, and Newcastle all interested in the centre-back, a bidding war could see his value increase yet further.
