Toronto Marlies Re-Sign Captain Logan Shaw
The Toronto Marlies announced they have re-signed their captain Logan Shaw to a two-year AHL contract extension.
The deal kicks in next year and runs through the 2026-27 season.
The 32-year-old has three goals and 17 points in 23 games and sits third on the team in scoring.
Shaw originally joined the Marlies for the 2022-23 season and was immediately named captain, a role he has kept since.
A third round selection of the Florida Panthers in 2011, Shaw has played in 232 NHL games and recorded 39 points.

The Glace Bay, N.S., native set an AHL career-high in points (69) with the Marlies in 2022-23, and a career-high in goals last season (30). He has 137 goals and 305 points in 472 career AHL games.
Shaw won the Fred T. Hunt Memorial Award in 2022-23 as the player who best exemplifies sportsmanship, determination and dedication to hockey.
