Torino aim to finalise Buchanan loan deal with Inter
Torino are ready to make the final steps to complete a loan deal for Tajon Buchanan, as they are expected to meet Inter on Monday and continue talks after their recent contacts.
The Canada international started the season sidelined by a lengthy tibia injury but has only played 61 minutes across five Serie A appearances since returning to action in late November.
In recent weeks, the Granata have emerged as a potential destination for the 25-year-old after the Nerazzurri director met with the player to discuss his future, presenting the possibility of a loan move to help him secure more playing time and return to full form.
Torino want to complete Buchanan deal amid competition from other clubs
According to FcInterNews, Torino have already opened talks with Inter over a six-month loan and are expected to try to finalise the deal in order to beat competition from other teams, as relegation-threatened Monza and other international clubs are also said to be interested in Buchanan.
Canada coach Jesse Marsch has confirmed the versatile midfielder is willing to ‘go out on loan’, as he is aware ‘he needs to play’.
