Krug was absolutely dominant during a 7-2 victory over the St. Louis Blues, and became the first player in team history with four points during a Stanley Cup Final game, racking up a goal and three assists in Game 3.
Considering that the Bruins were established in 1924, Krug’s franchise record certainly carries the weight of history, and if the 28-year-old defenceman wasn’t on the national radar by the time the playoffs rolled around, he certainly is now.
